ASQ-3 uses age intervals to help select the questionnaire closest to a child's age. The official ASQ-3 product lists intervals from 2 months through 60 months, with coverage for children from 1 to 66 months.
If a child was born premature, many screening workflows use adjusted age for early childhood screening. Weeks premature can be calculated from 39 weeks minus gestational age at birth, unless your program defines full term differently.
If a child is 10 months old chronologically and was born 6 weeks early, the adjusted age is about 8.5 months. That adjusted age may point to a different questionnaire interval depending on program policy.
